Guilty or Free?

Sin causes guilt. Guilt causes us to hide and feel worthless and ashamed.

In Genesis (3:8), God was in the garden dwelling with Adam and Eve. After they sinned, they hid because they felt guilty and ashamed.

Gods’ original and His desire now, is to dwell in and among us. He has corrected the fall that Adam made, so we can dwell with Him, through the Holy Spirit, which is inside of us, if we accept Jesus, as our Savior.

Forgiveness is the key: Receiving and giving forgiveness.

God loves you and I so much that he sent Jesus to shed His blood to atone for our sins – so we are forgiven. It is a free gift and all we have to do is; receive it. God wants to be in fellowship with us and make our life better thru Him!

If we decide to hang on to the guilt, it will cause us to hide from God. God made a way and sent Jesus to set the captives free.

In response to being forgiven, he expects us to do the same and forgive others.
"He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins--and not only
our sins but the sins of all the world." 1 John 2:2 NLT
Are there areas of your life where you feel guilty and are not receiving forgiveness? Or areas where you need to extend forgiveness? Receive his free gift!

Father, Reveal to me areas where I am stuck, due to not receiving forgiveness. Show me any areas of un-forgiveness, so I can repent and draw closer to you. Thank you, that I am forgiven and made worthy by the blood of Jesus.  Amen.
